About Guzmania

Guzmania is a floral design studio located near Brussels, Belgium, mainly focused on weddings and events. Our purpose is to restore flowers to their rightful place at the heart of meaningful occasions.

Flowers accompany us throughout life, marking its most important milestones. They welcome new beginnings, symbolise faith and commitment, express gratitude, elevate celebrations, and strengthen human connections.

At Guzmania, we strongly believe that floral arrangements tell stories about people and events by creating a specific and unique atmosphere. We want to share those stories through elegant, personalised and creative floral designs.

We consider flower designing as an art, adapting ourselves to all types of floral arrangements, styles and techniques. We are always up for artistic challenges.

Guzmania is committed to using floral design techniques that do not require the use of floral foam, which is known to be highly polluting. Waste is a significant part of florists' carbon footprint, so we aim at minimizing it by reusing as many materials as possible and ensuring proper composting of green waste.

About me

Hi, I'm Camille, Guzmania's founder. I have always loved nature and art. A sketchbook on the beach with my golden retriever is my escape place. I followed art lessons for many years as a teenager. At university, and later at work, I started to deeply miss creativity.

The need to design something with my hands began to grow.

I truly discovered my passion for flowers when organising my wedding. Identifying the style, colours, and types of flowers to create the wedding atmosphere that would reflect our couple and love was a revelation. I loved the whole process. From that moment, I knew it was my vocation to respond to people's needs by identifying with them the floral decorations for their events and venues.

I graduated from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, and after a few years working as a consultant, I decided to change my career path to follow my passion for floral design. This business background has taught me rigour, careful project management and planning, data-driven decision-making, hard work, creative thinking, and perfectionism. Apart from my practical and down-to-earth mindset, my entourage describes me as a very sensitive person. One might think these character traits are opposites, but I believe they beautifully complement each other to successfully carry out personalised floral projects.

Following numerous workshops and working as a freelancer for a top class florist in Brussels gave me the necessary tools to develop my own floral identity and working techniques.

Whether you get married in Belgium or elsewhere in the world, we are happy to create the floral installations for your perfect day. We take care of all floral arrangements, from the bridal bouquet to the groom’s boutonniere, as well as more imposing structures such as arches.

Our purpose is to accompany the bride- and groom-to-be from defining the wedding’s floral atmosphere to the dismantling of floral installations and return of the material after the wedding.

Floral arrangements are often overlooked for weddings while they attract guests’ attention and are often the first thing they see when entering a room. Flowers give a room a soul, making it unique. It is important that they tell the couple’s story and resonate with who they are.

We value exchanging ideas with you and creating an atmosphere that genuinely reflects who you are. It is about thinking together to create something that matches both your needs and your budget. Floral design is not just about trends; it is also about telling your story, conveying your tastes, and expressing the meaning and emotions you want to communicate through floral decorations.

Monthly subscription

We offer businesses and individuals subscriptions to have their interiors decorated with flowers on a weekly basis. Whether you are a company, hotel, restaurant, caterer, shop, nursing home, or an individual, we are committed to making your spaces remarkable every week.

Trends, tastes, and prices change over time, and what you want today may not be the same in two years. However, weddings require time and organisation, so we recommend not waiting until the last minute to book your date. If that happens, we will still do our best to accommodate emergency requests. Ideally, you should contact us approximately six months in advance.For events : Events also require time and organisation, so we recommend not waiting until the last minute.
